Women In Law takes on a direct question, who makes the better lawyer, male or female, using an AI system Premonition trained to read litigation records gathered from courthouses around the world, reportedly at a rate of 50,000 pages per second. The 40-page research report builds its argument from that underlying archive of millions of cases.
Its structure moves from a foreword and an introduction titled "Far From a Level Playing Field" through a section on how women charge less for their services, followed by an examination of whether they nonetheless win more, before closing with a discussion of perception versus reality and what the report calls a new pay gap.
